Frequently Asked Questions..................
Lee Ann developed her own anesthetic Pretty Numb, which greatly minimizes any discomfort that you might experience. The procedure is about as painful as having your eyebrows tweezed.
Lee Ann has years of experience and has developed her own manual method of implanting pigment which is less painful, causes less trauma to the skin and is extremely precise. The chance of pigment being placed inaccurately is very low.
The Pretty Woman Method utilizes sterile, single use completely disposable instruments. Lee Ann wears gloves at all times to insure that there is no contamination and the spread of disease is impossible with this method.
Although the length of the procedure may vary, as well as the number of visits required, most procedures generally take about 1 1/2 - 2 hours for the first time. On touch ups, it usually takes about 1 hour.
Although shape and color variations and adjustments can be made, you should definitely consider your new makeup as PERMANENT. This is what makes it so desirable. However, this procedure should not be undertaken as a whim, as pigment is much harder to remove than put in the skin.
The procedure does result in some swelling and redness, which typically lasts only a few hours. During the first week after the procedure, there will be peeling of the skin and sloughing of pigment trapped in the epidermis. As the skin heals, the color will continue to change for the next few weeks. It may be a month or more before the true color is visible. This is especially true of the lips.
If you desire lip tattooing, then you will need a prescription from your physician for an anti-viral medication to prevent a breakout.
The colors available are infinite and Lee Ann will custom blend a color that is right for you, one that brings out the best features while compensating for undertones in your skin. Please trust your artist to pick a suitable color for you.
